All inclusive Lodges in Marloth Park

Kruger Riverside Lodge offers accommodation with breakfast and dinner available in Marloth Park Conservancy, which borders Kruger National Park, one of the largest game reserves in South Africa. The lodge overlooks the Crocodile River and is situated 18 km from Crocodile Bridge in the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation is offered in 5 Double Rooms with air-conditioning, a flat-screen tv with DSTV and an en-suite bathroom. The lodge offers a swimming pool, guest lounge and 2 balconies. One balcony faces the swimming pool, and the second balcony faces the Crocodile River in the Kruger National Park. Enjoying a night cap while listening to a lion’s roar is the perfect way to end a day in the bush. Breakfast and dinner is either hosted on the patio facing the swimming pool or facing the Crocodile River. Linen is provided, along with bath towels and swimming towels, and there is also parking available to guests.

Kruger Riverside Lodge is ideal for day trips to areas of the Kruger National Park, Mozambique or Swaziland. Marloth Park is a 3,000-hectare wildlife conservancy and holiday town situated on the southern border of the Kruger National Park, between Malelane and Komatipoort in Mpumalanga. Visitors have access to the basics, including a variety of restaurants, shops and a fuel station. Marloth Park is a great destination for wildlife experiences.

Maqueda Lodge is a small family owned boutique lodge situated in Marloth Park – so close to the world-famous Kruger National Park that our guests frequently hear lions and other animals calling – especially at night. Our location means that the closest entrance to Kruger is a short 15 minutes’ drive from the lodge. In addition, we are also ideally situated to enjoy day tours of the fascinating country of Swaziland as well as the famous Blyde River Canyon – part of the beautiful Panorama Route.

Maqueda Lodge is surrounded by the natural beauty of the African bush. Often, we have non-human visitors to the lodge such as giraffe and zebra as Marloth Park is an area containing the general game. Our bird life is fascinating and abundant around the lodge itself. This means that for those guests that would like some exercise it is possible to walk unaccompanied to the Kruger fence line where you may see a variety of animals within Kruger come down to the Crocodile River. The observation point is a mere 15 minutes’ walk from the lodge where you can sit and relax or continue walking for as long as you want to!

With only 12 rooms we pride ourselves on a personal and relaxed atmosphere for our guests. We are very fortunate that a significant number of our guests return repeatedly and become more like family members.

We pride ourselves on offering guests luxury accommodation with attention to detail, as well as finely curated menus, and a range of high-end wines, imported spirits, and local favorites.

Our newly built swimming pool with ample seating, wraps around the front left of our deck area. It offers beautiful views of the river and provides an ideal spot to relax and savour the views of roaming game.

Vida Nova Kruger boasts two stunning dining areas. Our breakfast room is located on the ground floor, with views of the river. Lunch can be served either in this area, by the pool, or upstairs in our main dining, braai (bbq), and bar area.

Built in typical South African style with dark face brick and thatch roof, the first feature to strike guests is the expansive wooden deck covering the entire front section of the Vida Nova Kruger.

Vida Nova Kruger can sleep a maximum of 17 guests in 8 rooms. The lodge is divided into two sections. The front section has views over the crocodile river and the game grazing on the front lawn, and houses the master suite, 3 standard rooms and one smaller room. The front house is also where the communal dining areas are as well as the bar and viewing deck. The back section of the lodge is home to the loft, with a private side entrance, as well as two standard rooms, with a private lounge area. The two standard rooms could be booked with the loft, ideal for families or groups requiring more privacy. The back section is connected to the front with a decked ‘bridge’ where there is a seating area and tv. All of the bathrooms have been fully renovated, featuring high-end finishes, and the latest in bathroom accessories. Bringing in old-world charm, our bathroom cabinets are all personally selected antiques. Our rooms are outfitted with luxurious 300-thread count linen and luxury towels.

We have a fleet of vehicles providing the utmost comfort to guests for game drives through Kruger National Park, or transfers to the airports or Maputo.
